movies movies movies!
Over the weekend I got to watch movies! Many of you know that I'm not an avid movie watcher like most of my friends are... I'm not sure why I don't watch movies that often, it used to be because I had NO time, my schedule over the past years barely allowed me to sleep so I missed out on a lot but its great when I get to catch up! So here are my reviews for the 3 movies I watched over the weekend:
1. Prime- Uma Thurman and Meryl Streep and other unknown actors. It was basically about this sophisticated woman (Uma) who has problems letting go of her divorce and dating again. So she meets this young guy (14 yrs younger) and falls in love... in the meantime she's seeing her therapist to talk about her problems and about her new lover and it turns out to be the therapist's son who are "estranged" at the time. So she continues to be her therapist (because it seemed like an ethical thing to do at the time) but she has to hear EVERYTHING about their relationship. It had to be traumatizing for the therapist. Oh and the young boy was jewish and Uma's character was not and the therapist hated that. Anyways, it was an interesting movie. I give it 2 out of 4 stars. (cause I'm now a movie reviewer...LOL!)
2. Bourne Supremacy- Ok, this movie was off the chain. Matt Damon is the bomb. This movie was really really good. The last of the triology and man, it was great. When Julia Stiles came out of nowhere I was like WHAT?!?!?! 4 out of 4 stars.
3. Baby Mama- it was funny. I heart Tina Fey. and Greg Kinnear. Tina Fey's character needs a surrogate mother and they give her white trash Amy Poheler's character. Hilarity ensues. I wish it didn't end so nice and neat... 2.5 stars out of 4. here are some of my fave quotes from the movie:
"Can I just spray a little PAM down there right before the baby comes out?"
"Stop framing your face!"
"You're stupid space car locked me in!"
