Gilmore girls

I finally made peace with Gilmore girls. I don't know if you know but it was one of my favorite shows ever! Loved everything about that show, yes, even the fast paced talking (my friend Pedro calls it the Gabmore girls.. lol).

The show lasted 7 seasons and I only recognized 6 seasons because for the seventh season, the show's creator and writer, Amy Sherman-Palladino, did not come back. Its not that she didn't want to, its because stinking producers wouldn't meet her requirements and I don't understand why not because it was only one more season! I had a hard time dealing with that and was very upset that the last season was going to be Amy-less therefore, garbage.

and let me tell you, garbage stinks. I hated all of the seventh season. From Christopher/Lorelai storyline to Rory/Logan to the insanely pregnant Lane, whose stomach in the show was the worst ever. I mean it looked like a huge oval balloon under her shirt. I was so upset and I still bought the seventh season, (I waited till it was on sale) and I watched it sporadically because even though I hated it, it was still my show, it was just bittersweet.

But last night, I sat down and saw the last episode of the series and cried. and cried. Because I had put away all my animosity that I had and just took in the finale like it was meant to be, Rory and Lorelai in Stars Hollow. That's how the show began and that's how it ended. It was sad ending because Rory leaves and I can't imagine how her mom and grandparents felt her leaving for who knows how long.

I know, this might sound like a complete obsession or something, but it is not. It's just really one of my fave shows ever. plus all the crying was really due to PMS.
