Sleepless Nights
I love to sleep. I can fall asleep in under 3 minutes. I don't ever need any kind of sleeping aid, ex: sleeping pills, tea, warm milk, etc.., I just have that gift. And I enjoy being able to fall asleep easily so you know that when I am sick or I have something on my mind and I can't sleep or I toss and turn for hours, I will be UPSET in the morning. I get so angry because I don't understand why my body keeps me awake!!!! Well, when I am sick, yes, I understand or when my brain is just going a mile a minute but if nothing else is wrong and I just can't sleep... ARRGHHHH. (I apparently turn into a pirate).
This happened to me last night. I fell asleep in no time but at 1 am I was awake. WIDE AWAKE. As in I was ready to start my day. Why?? I had only slept 2 hours. I did everything to go back to sleep and nothing worked. I said fine, let me watch a dvd, so I started watching Scrubs.... I saw like 8 episodes, and still NOTHING! I don't understand, I had nothing on my mind.
Actually, now as I write this, I think I know why. This has actually happened to me before... every time I plan on going to the gym, my body gets scared and keeps me awake so that when I have to get up, I can't because I have been awake all night. HA, this is a major discovery I just made. Hmm, how do I trick my body into letting me sleep enough so I can go to the gym? Maybe I should just go to the gym at that hour... no, the gym is not open at 3am. I wish there was a 24 hour gym open. Sometimes I think I could go in the middle of the night and it will be as effective. My body is so lazy, I can't believe it. No, I am determined, tomorrow we are going to the gym.
