Remember me?
Hey guys! I know, it's been a while. I've wanted to write, but I didn't have that fire in me. (metaphorically speaking) As I write this, I'm listening to Christina Aguilera's song "You Lost Me". This girl has talent. I don't think she gets enough credit. She has such a powerful voice, granted, she tries too hard to be like her pop counterpart, Ms. Britney Spears. Christina needs some counseling sessions and good friends.
Anyways, I'm not writing this post about Christina, it's about how I've been MIA from blogging. Lots of things have happened in the past couple of months and even though it is not tragic, it involves a lot of loss. Material things mostly. But the biggest thing I lost was the sense of security. I know we live in a world where you can't trust ANYONE. But I had a little bit of faith. I thought there was some people that had a least the tiny bit of respect, to God or people that feared God. I say this because my car got broken in to while I was at the Kingdom Hall. Seriously people? On God's territory? Ya'll gonna come in and rob me? That's just horrible. In the words of Kelly Kapoor "HOW DARE YOU?"
The police has not been able to track down who did nor my stuff. But I just cut all my losses and decided to start fresh. I have no hope of getting any of my stuff back. Yea, it hurts starting over (laptop, 2 cameras were stolen). But I have my life. I wasn't in the car when it happened, it could have been SO MUCH WORSE!! About a month later, some guy was killed like up the street from where my car was broken in to. Wow.
I think I'm good now. I haven't replaced my Canon camera but someday I will. I did get a new laptop. A MacBook Pro. IT IS AWESOME! I can't wait till I learn how to use it for real. It has all these cool features, it really kicks PCs' butt. Don't get me wrong, PC for life! But I do like that I can use both.
I will try to keep updating consistently now. I have lots of stories to share.
Deuces! (I'm listening to Chris Brown)
