And his name is...........
Guess what guys? I finally named my car. I was stuck on two names. A boy name and a girl name. I know, it seems like something that shouldn't take you 2.4 years to figure out butttttt it did. Let's backtrack shall we?
I had a red 2001 Toyota Corolla. He was a boy. I said was because he is now in the junkyard due to stupid and terrible accidents not caused by me. His name was Andy. I named him after Andy Roddick cause at the time I thought he was cute and a very awesome tennis player. Then he married Brooklyn Decker and is now dead to me.
Now I have an electric blue 2010 Toyota Corolla. I was reluctant to even purchase this car because my father was in El Salvador at the time and I don't do anything this life changing without him. I had never had anything that big in my name so I didn't want to do it. But a very good friend came with me and helped me out and talked numbers and did all this research and haggled, etc. It was awesome. So I got my car. I wasn't crazy about the car. I loooovveed my old car and its bootleg ways. I kept thinking about what I should name my car. Did I want it to be a boy or a girl? I asked a lot of people. Recently when I was driving back from my cousin's wedding with my other cousins, we kept coming up with names and I shot down each and every one of them. Why? I don't know. They were really good.
So finally, I thought of one. Well I had 3 names. Betty, Quixote and Grover. I also liked Parker cause I could be like can you park Parker? Silly, I know. So I finally decided on Grover. Yes, Grover. From sesame street. Sure it seems childish but come on, I need to hold on to a bit of my childhood because it's becoming such a distant memory since I am turning the dirty 30 soon. So there you have it.
