Pilates and fat people

I decided to do different types of exercises so I won't get bored and yesterday I tried Pilates for the first time in a LONG time. Pilates is (according to about.com):  "a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement." Yes, you can build your core strength with this, and it is hard to do this when you are round. Fat people can't do Pilates. They just can't. I tried, and it is very difficult to get into this one position when you have fat in your way. I tried it once before and liked it a lot but that was when I was much less fat.

Back to cardio...
